WWE Hall of Famer Madusa was a trailblazer for women’s wrestling during the 80s and 90s. Even if she no longer appears on any pro wrestling company much, there’s no denying just how much Madusa accomplished in her career. That being said, she made light of Roman Reigns’ most recent accomplishment.

Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship after returning to WWE television back in 2020. What followed was one of the greatest title runs in the history of professional wrestling.

As previously reported, Roman Reigns just hit 1000 days as the WWE Universal Champion – a feat that is unlikely to be matched. That being said, not everyone was in awe of what Roman Reigns accomplished.

Madusa took to Twitter and acknowledged that Roman Reigns’ 1000-day title run is impressive, but then went on to compare it to her own run as WWE Women’s Champion. Madusa added that it has been 28 years and she is still the champion.

1,000 days is impressive! But for me, it’s been 28 YEARS and #imstillchampion #WWENOC

Things haven’t been going well for Roman Reigns lately as he and Solo Sikoa lost to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Night Of Champions after Jimmy Uso turned on Roman Reigns. We’ll have to see how Roman Reigns will be booked after this shocking turn of events.

What’s your view on what Madusa said? Do you think she has the right to compare her run with Roman Reigns? Let us know in the comments!
