Steve Austin Reveals Insane WWE Payday For His Iconic T-Shirt

WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin remains one of the biggest and most influential names in pro wrestling history. After all, he single-handedly ushered in the Attitude Era and changed the course of pro wrestling for good. Austin’s iconic ‘Austin 3:16’ t-shirt remains a massive seller and it appears he gots a lot of money for it even now.

Throughout his career, Stone Cold Steve Austin has squared off against some of the most iconic wrestlers in WWE history. From legendary battles with The Rock to intense rivalries with Triple H and Mick Foley, Austin never failed to create history at every turn.

The Texas Rattlesnake is synonymous with the ‘Austin 3:16’ t-shirt and it remains a staple to this day, as many pro wrestling fans continue to wear it to display their love for pro wrestling.

While speaking on the SI Media podcast, The Bionic Redneck talked about how much he made from his t-shirt and merchandise sales. Austin revealed he made around 8 figures, if not more.

“I don’t know how much. I mean, it’s definitely seven figures, probably eight figures now. In WWE you get your royalty checks every quarter.”

Steve Austin also recently revealed why he won’t return to WWE for a full-time gig. Regardless, Austin is more than happy with how his life is going right now and that’s all that matters.
