Sami Zayn Was Worried Fans In Saudi Arabia Would Reject Him

Sami Zayn was the final Superstar introduced during the Night of Champions conference. He came out and had fans singing his song at the top of their lungs.

Fans in Saudi Arabia gave Sami Zayn a tremendous reception. They chanted for him, and it was very clear that they accepted him. In the end, Sami Zayn said that they were his “people,” a statement that meant a lot more outside pro wrestling.

Sami Zayn wasn’t allowed to make any previous trips, because he is of Syrian heritage. Now that Saudi Arabia is allowing Sryians to travel through the country once again, Zayn can come to Night of Champions.

BWE tweeted out to let everyone know that Sami Zayn was actually worried that the Saudi Arabian fans wouldn’t accept him. Then it was made very clear that wasn’t the case.

And come to think Sami told me two days ago he was worried the Saudis wouldnt support him. Today he went back to his hotel with a fkn glow.

This is a great time for Sami Zayn, and you could tell how much it meant to him to be in Saudi Arabia. Odds are, Night of Champions will be a huge night fo Sami Zayn as he comes to the ring in, what is likely to be the main event match.
