Brock Lesnar is certainly one of the most decorated pro wrestlers in the history of the industry. Lesnar commands a lot of pull backstage, and it is not hard to see why. Lesnar also doesn’t want to work with just everyone in WWE and rarely puts them over. Now it appears that Kurt Angle believes Lesnar isn’t at a point to put other wrestlers over.

Brock Lesnar has squared off against numerous top WWE Superstars during his time in the company and that includes his high-profile feud with Kurt Angle. After all, their feud was the highlight for many back in 2003.

Kurt Angle also put over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 19, dropping the WWE Championship to The Beast Incarnate. Angle is more than aware of the importance for veterans to put over talent from time to time.

While speaking on an AdFreeShows special of The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle noted how he felt that Lesnar had reached a point in his career where he needed to lose a few big matches. Angle then stated that he believes Brock Lesnar isn’t at a point to put other wrestlers over, but hopes he does eventually.

“I thought Brock was at the point in his career where he was going to start putting over other talent, but I think he might not be at that point. There comes a time when he’s going to have to. Kind of like Undertaker doing the favor for him at WrestleMania. There is going to be a day when Brock Lesnar’s going to start losing here and there.

I was hoping it would be now, but with Cody’s arm the way it is, he has an out now. Brock gets his arm in an armbar, and you know, Cody passes and doesn’t tap, breaks his arm, and looks like a hero. I think that’s most likely what’s going to happen. I would have said a month ago Cody Rhodes all the way, but I feel like Brock Lesnar is still at the point in his career where he is not going to be doing many jobs down the line, not immediately.”

Brock Lesnar is set to square off against Cody Rhodes at Night Of Champions in a rematch from WWE Backlash. With Rhodes notably banged up ahead of the match, fans believe Lesnar will win this time around. We’ll have to see whether Kurt Angle will end up being right.

What’s your opinion on what Kurt Angle said? Do you think Brock Lesnar will ever put over talent on a regular basis? Let us know in the comments!
