AEW has certainly seen a lot of growth since its inception back in 2019, especially when it comes to the company’s overall improvement in production values and level of in-ring talent Now it appears that AEW believes there is a real demand for them in countries such as India, Australia and Germany.
Jeff Jarrett is a pro wrestling veteran and remains one of the very few legends who still compete in the ring even now. Double J finally made his way to AEW last year and has been a staple of AEW television ever since.
AEW has already proven its prowess when it comes to performing well in foreign countries thanks to the massive success that the upcoming AEW All In event has managed to get. That said, the topic of global expansion remains a major deal for the company.
While speaking to Steve Fall, Jeff Jarrett stated that there is a lot of demand for AEW to hold events in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. Naturally, Jarrett expressed interest in having events take place in the aforementioned countries.
The demand is incredible. Before I stepped foot full-time into the AEW circle I did as much due diligence as possible as I could and there is a kind of an [inaudible] obviously domestically I drilled into that coast to coast. I call them the C and D markets that Dynamite or pay-per-view can’t go to but there’s a demand globally. Australia, all through Europe, the German promoters wear me out. Australian folks, they want us there. So there’s a real demand. India is the untapped biggest emerging market in the world.
We will have to wait and see whether AEW will manage to expand their business globally and hold events all over Europe and even India. With Jeff Jarrett already having experience working in AEW, perhaps fans might get to see an AEW event in India somewhere down the line.
