A couple of years ago, WWE decided to bolster the NXT UK roster in a big way by signing numerous independent talent. This included Sha Samuels, who proved to be an asset to the brand. The company eventually released him and then returned for a coaching gig. That said, it appears that Samuels is now done with WWE following the gig.
WWE’s NXT UK brand underwent many changes when several members of the roster were released last year. Among the numerous talent that were released – Sha Samuels was one of them.
That said, Sha Samuels was spotted at the WWE Performance Center at the very beginning of this month. He was even seen with former Pinky Party teammate Noam Dar, which made fans wonder if he is returning for good.
Sha Samuels took to Twitter and revealed that after three weeks of coaching at the WWE Performance Center, he had a great time and seemingly hinted that he was done with WWE for good.
Back home after 3 weeks in Orlando as a guest coach/producer for NXT.
Had a blast with the best people🍻⚓️

Prior to his NXT UK signing in January 2021, Sha Samuels spent years traveling around the UK indie scene including RevPro, xWx, Preston City Wrestling and more. We’ll have to see what the future holds for him, but WWE doesn’t seem to be his next destination for the time being.
What’s your view on Sha Samuels in NXT? Do you think WWE should have rehired him for a permanent role? Let us know in the comments!
