It has been a successful year for Brian Cage in both AEW and Ring of Honor, but the most significant announcement came from his wife, Melissa Santos.
On Tuesday evening, Santos took to Instagram to officially reveal that she and Cage are expecting their second child together, with the baby due in November. Cage expressed his joy on Twitter, sharing the exciting news with his followers.
Cage and Santos first crossed paths in 2014 while working for the upstart promotion Lucha Underground, where Santos served as the ring announcer. Their relationship began in 2016, and they welcomed their first child, daughter Skyler, in January 2018. The couple got engaged in December of the same year, with Cage proposing at an independent wrestling event. They tied the knot in a public ceremony in July 2019 and had a second ceremony on “Impact Wrestling” in September of that year, where they were both employed at the time.
Although Cage doesn’t currently have a match scheduled for AEW Double or Nothing week, he enters this period with momentum. Recently, he and his Mogul Embassy partner, Swerve Strickland, emerged victorious against Alex Reynolds and John Silver on AEW Rampage. The stable is currently engaged in a heated feud with Dustin Rhodes and Strickland’s former tag team partner, Keith Lee.
As Cage awaits the arrival of their second child, fans and well-wishers are excitedly anticipating this new chapter in his personal life.
