Alicia Fox had a long run in WWE for over ten years. She was popular for her foxy and crazy persona mixed with the unorthodox style of wrestling. Fox eventually won the Divas Championship, becoming the first African-American woman to win the title. While she left WWE recently, it appears Fox isn’t done competing in the ring.
Alicia Fox signed with WWE back in 2006 and started working in Ohio Valley Wrestling in the beginning. She made her main roster debut on the June 13, 2008, episode of SmackDown and went on to have a memorable career.
Alicia Fox’s final advertised match for the company was on April 22, 2019. Some fans noticed how Alicia Fox no longer had WWE on her Instagram bio, believing she was done with the company. Fox herself then confirmed she parted ways with WWE earlier this year.
With Fox having left WWE and not competed in a match in over four years, many assumed she was done with pro wrestling for good. However, Fox took to Twitter and claimed that she is ‘unretired’ and that she didn’t hear a three count.
Nahhh…. Ain’t #retired YET! SMH! we’ll I’m UNRETIRED, THEN!! I want to give a large THANK YOU to@atdpromotionsfor hosting us! I AM apart …. I didn’t hear a THREE COUNT… BUT count ON me!!!! Love y’all CYA SOON
In the meantime, she did get engaged to be married last year. We’ll have to see whether Alicia Fox will step back inside the squared circle somewhere down the line, as fans would love to see her compete again.
