WWE Superstars give their all in the ring, and sometimes that means injuries are just around the corner. Sadly, it seems that two injuries were suffered during the same match recently.

We previously reported that Liv Morgan injured her shoulder. That caused WWE to vacate the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, because she is unable to compete. It seems that we can take one women’s tag team off the table in the pursuit to win the titles.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Dakota Kai is out of action with a torn ACL. He also noted that she was injured in the same match where Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury.

”The injury took place in the same match on May 12 that Liv Morgan was injured in with Raquel Rodriguez & Morgan vs. Kai & Bayley for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. The word was that she was injured after Morgan suffered her shoulder injury and the knee injury came in a spot where she knew Morgan was hurt and was trying to protect her.”

We will have to see how long Dakota Kai is out of action. This is certainly not what the Damage CTRL stable needed right now, because it will get in the way of their momentum.

It will be interesting to see how WWE books Damage CTRL from this point on with only Bayley and IYO Sky. This is terrible timing, because WWE was also teasing the idea of splitting up the stable.
