The pro wrestling world has a rich history and many stories that need to be told. Now, it seems that Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair are going to be a part of something very special, as they have been cast in a film based around a pioneer in women’s wrestling.

WWE Superstars will sometimes get opportunities outside the squared circle. As we’ve seen in recent memory with Seth Rollins snatching a role in Captain America: New World Order, the company is even willing to give Superstars time off to film. It seems that Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair are about to be busy.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan both landed parts in an upcoming biographical film about Mildred Burke. The move is slated to film in Louisville, Kentucky next month.

Fightful Select has learned that Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan are both slated for a wrestling-based movie, which films in Louisville, Kentucky in June.

Starring Emily Bett Rickards as Mildred Burke, the movie highlights her life, career and marriage. The film is based on the book Queen of the Ring by the Pulitzer Prize winning Jeff Leen. It’s produced by Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins, and written/directed by Ash Avildsen.

The report also stated that, “Josh Lucas has been cast as Billy Wolfe, Marie Avgeropoulous as Babe Gordon.” Jim Ross will also be working behind the scenes on the film.

It was also noted that Charlotte Flair is set to portray June Byers. Liv Morgan is slated to play Clara Mortensen. It was not noted how large their parts will be in the film, but they could have good-sized roles.

This is an exciting development for fans of Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair. Both of them are currently off WWE television. Flair hasn’t been seen on television since WrestleMania, but Morgan was just taken off television due to a shoulder injury.
