Persia Pirotta was involved in a storyline with Duke Hudson when she was unexpectedly released by WWE, along with nine other NXT 2.0 talent back in 2022. This news came as a surprise to fans. Since her release, Pirotta has been working on improving her skills on the independent wrestling circuit. Now it appears she made a very interesting claim about her time in the Indies.

Pirotta is now going as Steph De Lander following her WWE release. Her NXT release was not something that came out of left field for her either. This is because the company had a track record of releasing talent at that point.

Steph De Lander has largely competed in Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor and Game Changer Wrestling. Together with Matt Cardona, she has been competing in numerous promotions in a variety of matches.

Steph De Lander took to Twitter and revealed that she has made more money in the past year since leaving the company than she did in WWE. Naturally, she was very happy about her accomplishment.

I made more money in the last 12 months on my own, than I did during the year I was with WWE

Steph De Lander has proven that the independent circuit is a remarkable way to make a living in the world of professional wrestling now and that certainly would not have it any other way.

What’s your view on what Steph De Lander said? Are you happy about this? Let us know in the comments!
