Cody Rhodes’ star power in WWE is undeniable right now and his stock continues to rise even now. Ever since he returned to the company last year, Rhodes has simply been competing at the highest level, both in the ring as well as on the microphone. Now it appears Rhodes has been named the best promo in the history of professional wrestling.

The American Nightmare’s skills on the microphone improved drastically during his time in All Elite Wrestling, where he honed his craft as a babyface against the likes of Chris Jericho, MJF and many others.

Even in WWE, Cody Rhodes has managed to cut incredible promos against the likes of Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and most recently – Brock Lesnar. All of this has not gone unnoticed by fans and pro wrestlers alike.

While speaking with Greg Valentine on WSI, pro wrestling legend Don Muraco talked about Cody Rhodes’ impressive microphone prowess. He went on to call Rhodes the best promo in the history of pro wrestling.

“I’m a closet watcher [of modern wrestling]. I love Dusty’s boy. I think he’s the best promo guy I’ve ever seen, my whole time in the business. I like his organization, his delivery, everything about his promos.”

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will be under one roof next week on RAW, ahead of their highly anticipated matchup at WWE Clash Of Champions in Saudi Arabia on May 27th. It remains to be seen whether the match will live up to expectations in the end.
