AEW is set to debut a new television show on June 17th, and fans will soon see another two-hour block of live programming added to their weekly broadcast. Andrade was featured on promotional material for the new show, but that was news to him.
As we previously reported, AEW is expected to pull off a brand split with their new Collision show. The company never wanted to replicate WWE’s roster split, but it’s hard to stop the similarities.
Andrade El Idolo was featured on the poster for Collision, but this was quite a surprise. He tweeted out after the announcement to let fans know that he wasn’t told about his inclusion on the new AEW show.
AEW Collision will be a live weekly Saturday night television show. Fans will have something new to watch from 8 PM to 10 PM on Saturdays now, in addition to everything else they already had scheduled. The new AEW show will compete against WWE pay-per-view events, UFC pay-per-views, and many college sports games. Only time will tell how things pan out.
Andrade El Idolo isn’t the only exciting return expected for Collision. CM Punk is rumored to be a part of the show. Miro and Thunder Rosa were also included on the promotional material as well.
