As the anticipation builds for AEW’s Double Or Nothing, Sammy Guevara and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry are gearing up with singles matches on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
At Double Or Nothing, Guevara, Perry, and Darby Allin will join forces to challenge AEW World Champion MJF in a thrilling Pillars Four-Way match. Last week’s Dynamite witnessed Perry and Allin securing a victory over Guevara and MJF in tag team action, officially solidifying their spot in the Double Or Nothing bout. Now, Guevara and Perry will warm up with individual matches on this week’s Dynamite.
While Guevara’s opponent has yet to be announced, Perry is set to face Rush in a highly-anticipated encounter. This will mark the first-ever meeting between Rush and Perry. Rush, who last competed in a singles match against Bryan Danielson on the February 8 edition of AEW Dynamite’s Championship Fight Night, will look to make a strong impact in his return to singles competition.
The Moody Center in Austin, TX, will be the venue for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite on TBS, featuring several of matches and segments.
Don Callis is slated to explain the shocking turn on Kenny Omega. Jay White will go head-to-head with Ricky Starks, and The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm, Ruby Soho) will clash with AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida.
A Falls Count Anywhere Match between Chris Jericho and Roderick Strong is set to ignite the arena, with Adam Cole and The Jericho Appreciation Society banned from ringside. Furthermore, viewers can expect a follow-up to the “important announcement” teased by AEW President Tony Khan during last Wednesday’s episode on TNT.
