A report was released last week from WRKD Wrestling that said, “there were tentative plans to draft Bron to the main roster, but officials are so impressed with his heel persona, he remained in NXT to better cultivate his character.” We can confirm that is not the case at all.

Ringside News reached out to a tenured WWE staffer, and we asked about plans to move Bron Breakker up to the main roster. We were told that there were no discussions of moving Bron Breakker up. In fact, any discussion about Bron Breakker on the main roster went the other way around.

Not only have there been no discussions about moving Bron up, there were specific discussions about giving him more time in NXT.

WWE still called up a lot of NXT Superstars during the 2023 Draft. You can click here for a full list of those call-ups.

Bron Breakker is able to show a lot more of his character with a heel persona. His current NXT storyline sees him getting heat while wearing all black on Tuesdays. Only time will tell if he gets another NXT Title run, this time around as a heel, but Bron Breakker’s time in NXT is far from over.

What’s your take on Bron Breakker staying in NXT? Do you think the brand needs him around? Sound off in the comments!
