A segment with LA Knight was originally scheduled for the WWE Friday Night SmackDown, but it was pushed to a later date. This segment would have reportedly seen LA Knight get a new tag team partner in Rick Boogs.

Boozer666, who has a history of breaking insider scoops, tweeted out behind his private account that it was planned for LA Knight to search for a tag team partner on SmackDown. However, that segment did not air as intended.

The current plan is for Knight to team up with Rick Boogs, but this partnership is expected to be temporary. The specifics of how or why they will eventually part ways remain uncertain, but considering the history of tag teams in WWE, it is likely that the split will occur on unfavorable terms, potentially involving one of them turning against the other.

LA Knight has been receiving positive crowd reactions as a babyface during live events, indicating that he is on track for a significant singles push. It is worth mentioning that while Boogs was initially intended to be Knight’s partner, that could still change in the future.

We will have to see how things progress in the weeks to come. LA Knight is just getting started with this new storyline, but it’s never a good idea to wait too long.
