Adam Page was a fighting champion when he carried the AEW World Title, but he’s had quite a tough road since his ride on top. The Hangman has been out for weeks, but it appears that his time away from the ring is coming to an end.
During the April 5th episode of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page suffered a brutal assault at the hands of The Blackpool Combat Club. The attack concluded with Bryan Danielson delivering an intense screwdriver shot to the head on Page.
Since that incident, the former AEW World Champion has been absent from AEW programming. However, it appears that his absence is about to come to an end, as his return to action is on the horizon. Fans can eagerly look forward to witnessing Hangman Adam Page’s comeback and the impact he will make upon his return.
AEW just announced that Hangman Page will take on Big Bill at the May 13th AEW House Rules event. This will mark Page’s return to the ring.
We will have to see when Hangman Page returns to television, because House Rules events are not taped for television. Page’s participation will probably encourage a lot of fans to buy a ticket for the show.
Hangman Page’s contract is running out with AEW. At this point in time, no new deal has been signed, but he’s still going to keep working for them in the meantime.
What’s your take on Hangman Page’s AEW situation? Would you re-sign if you were him? Sound off in the comments!
