Kenny Omega is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in AEW and has cemented himself as one of the all-time greats in the business. That said, even Omega isn’t immune when it comes to betrayal from time to time. This is because Omega was betrayed by Don Callis on Dynamite this week and now it appears he commented on the betrayal.
As seen in the main event of AEW Dynamite this week, Kenny Omega took on Jon Moxley in a steel cage match. It was a very bloody and brutal match, as both stars beat each other to a pulp.
The final moments of the match saw Don Callis betraying Kenny Omega, allowing Jon Moxley to pick up the win. This sent shockwaves across the AEW landscape, as no one expected Callis could have done such a thing.
Following the conclusion of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega was carried to the back by The Young Bucks and was interviewed by Lexy Nair. Omega was asked about the betrayal, where The Cleaner simply wondered who he could trust.
“Where’s Don? Where’s Don? If I can’t trust the Bucks, if I can’t trust my family, who can I trust? Who can I trust?”
Don Callis also refused to comment on his betrayal of Kenny Omega after AEW Dynamite. Fans also felt Omega was teasing Kota Ibushi’s debut in AEW. Regardless, we’ll have to see how AEW will book Kenny Omega and Don Callis’ storyline in the coming weeks.
What do you think of what Kenny Omega said? Do you think Kota Ibushi could debut in AEW? Let us know in the comments!
