WWE Superstars have a lot of eyes on them, and scammers would love that kind of attention. Sadly, it seems that one scammer might have gained access to Asuka’s Facebook clout.

Asuka is having a problem with social media, and it’s not a new issue. Her blue verified checkmarks are getting played with, which is something a lot of people can relate to. The Empress of Tomorrow got her blue checkmark back on Twitter, but Facebook is a different story.

Asuka logged into Twitter to inform fans, and Mr Facebook, that whoever got her blue verified checkmark on Facebook is not the genuine article.

Dear Mr. @facebook . You have previously removed my official account’s official badge as a fake. You also made my account unavailable on several occasions. My account has since been made available again. But in the meantime, you gave my fake account the official badge. Since then, the fake me has become the official me. I think Facebook is causing misunderstanding and inconvenience to many people.

We can only hope that whoever has Asuka’s blue checkmark on Facebook isn’t using it for nefarious purposes. After all, scammers have targeted WWE fans for a long time. It seems that Asuka is doing everything she can to get the word out.

Only time will tell what’s next in this situation. It has to be frustration to watch someone else operate your fan page, especially when that person has a blue verification checkmark that belongs to you.

What’s your take on Asuka’s problem on Facebook? Have you deleted Facebook yet? Sound off in the comments!
