Kelani Jordan (Lea Mitchell) has made her NXT debut in a match against Wendy Choo ahead of tonight’s NXT taping. The match will be televised on this Friday’s edition NXT Level Up.

Jordan has had numerous matches in front of NXT live crowds at house shows, including singles matches against Zoey Stark and Cora Jade, and tag team matches with Roxanne Perez and the recently departed Indi Hartwell.

Jordan’s recruitment is an example of WWE’s strategy of recruiting former collegiate athletes. She was a superstar for the Michigan State gymnastics team from 2018-2022 and led the Spartans to NCAA Regionals in 2022.

Jordan has also appeared on NXT TV before as an unidentified background character, including in a Chase U segment on tonight’s NXT.
