WWE always grabs attention with their yearly Money in the Bank events. Fans want to know who will be carrying around those briefcases with guaranteed title match contracts inside. It seems that it is just a bit too early to have anything locked down just yet.
A report is going around that LA Knight is slated to win the 2023 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. This could be a massive moment for Knight’s career, but nothing can be confirmed at this time.
Ringside News reached out to confirm WWE’s current Money in the Bank planning status, specifically if any winners have been determined at this time. We were told that, “even if the winners have been determined, isn’t it almost a sure thing the decision will change between now and then?”
We were also told that “even if it’s true” that Money in the Bank winners have been chosen already, “there is a lot of time to change the direction or for someone to influence the direction from a variety of different angles.”
WWE can make plans for the future, but anything can change in a couple of months, especially when it comes to creative decisions. Even if WWE has a Money in the Bank match winner pegged, that might not be the same person at all when the big event rolls around.
Money in the Bank will take place in London’s O2 Arena on July 1st. The company has a lot of things that they need to book between now and then, and any number of things can go on to change plans as well. You can also never forget that Vince McMahon is still around to make his opinion known whenever he feels the need.
