As seen on last week’s episode of NXT, Indi Hartwell was forced to relinquish her NXT Women’s Championship after suffering an injury. This led to the formation of a tournament to determine a new champion. The participants have been revealed but it appears that a couple of NXT Superstars were not happy at being snubbed.

Eight female WWE Superstars have been announced for a single elimination tournament set to conclude at NXT Battleground on May 28.

One half of the draw has Gigi Dolin vs Tiffany Stratton and Jacy Jayne vs Roxanne Perez. The other half will see Kiana James vs Lyra Valkyria, and Fallon Henley vs Cora ⁰e.

NXT Superstars such as Ivy Nile has now reactd to this line-up, as she was shocked at being excluded from the tournament. Thea Hail took to Twitter and agreed with Nile over her reaction to getting snubbed.

Nile has been presented as a proper star for a while now. On the other hand, Thea Hail hasn’t lost a singles match since she was defeated by Tiffany Stratton in February. We’ll have to wait and see whether WWE will give them more opportunities in the future.

What do you think of this story? Are you surprised they got snubbed? Sound off in the comments!
