Sean Sapp noted a very interesting study by World Sports Network behind Fightful’s paywall. It was stated in the study that WWE fans will watch an unbelievable amount of advertisements throughout their lives as fans.
There was a study by World Sports Network that indicated a loyal WWE viewer watches over 278,400 minutes of ads in their lifetimes tied to the show.
This is quite a lot of advertisement time, and it might only go up. After all, WWE is now open for business when it comes to selling off their ring assets to the highest bidder. If a partnership makes sense, then WWE will certainly cash those checks.
Endeavor’s request that Vince McMahon stay with WWE through the UFC merger. It was also made very clear that WWE hopes to remain with NBCU and FOX as their media partners through the ongoing television rights talks.
WWE integrates brand partnerships in their programming all the time, and that has been the practice for years from diet supplements to Karate Fighters, WWE fans have seen all sorts of advertisements throughout the years, and that’s not going to stop any time soon.
