Heels in pro wrestling make a living by fans hating their guts. It seems that sometimes a heel can do too good of a job, and that might cause fans to go over the line. That seems to be the case for Corey Graves’ brother, Sam Adonis.

Sam Adonis made a huge name for himself with his Donald Trump supporting gimmick. That character saw him draw unbelievable heat, especially in Mexico. Fans have not forgotten about that, either.

Corey Graves’ brother logged onto Twitter, and he dropped a rather concerning post. Apparently, a child has been texting him gruesome messages of death and destruction, all with vile threats attached. Those photos of a dismembered body come right from the Mexican cartel, too, an organization that nobody wants to mess with at all.

Normally I find “Hate Mail” from Lucha libre fans entertaining and validating, but an 11 year old sending death threats with violent cartel imagery is quite unsettling.

This is quite concerning, and it might cause a lot of people to rethink their career path. For Sam Adonis, it just means that he is doing a great job as a heel. That being said, he still might need to watch himself.

Some fans take pro wrestling seriously, because it’s still real to them. In Mexico, a threat from the cartel is always serious business, no matter where it comes from. We’re sending out our best to Sam Adonis, because he might need some extra protection right now.

Would you change careers if you started getting death threats over your job? Do you think Sam Adonis needs to be afraid of an 11-year-old’s texts? Sound off in the comments!
