What Happened With Brock Lesnar After WWE Backlash Went Off Air

Brock Lesnar immediately began a feud with Cody Rhodes after WrestleMania 39, confusing people in the process. It culminated in a match at WWE Backlash, which turned out to be a very bloody affair. While Lesnar lost, fans also got to see what he did after Backlash concluded.

As seen in the main event of the Backlash Premium Live Event, Brock Lesnar squared off against Cody Rhodes in a highly anticipated match. The action was heavy from start to finish, as Rhodes didn’t waste any time getting the upper hand on the beast.

That said, Brock Lesnar dominated most of the match. Towards the final stretch of the match, Cody drove Lesnar into an exposed turnbuckle and busted open Brock Lesnar. In the end, Cody Rhodes managed to beat Lesnar after countering the Kimura Lock into a pin.

After WWE Backlash went off the air, Brock Lesnar was simply standing in the ring as the crowd in attendance gave him a standing ovation for the solid match. Lesnar soaked it all in before making his way to the back.

We will have to wait and see whether WWE has more plans for Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes’ feud, as it is unlikely their storyline has ended just yet.
