Carlito’s WWE Return Generates Tremendous Reaction

WWE fans were pumped to see Carlito return at Backlash, especially those fans in San Juan, Puerto Rico. That also caused quite a stir online.

Carlito, who is a former Intercontinental Champion, made a surprise appearance to help Bad Bunny fend off the Judgment Day during the rapper’s street fight against Damian Priest. This was a big moment as he made his way to the ring in an LWO t-shirt.

Fans have wanted Carlito’s WWE return for a while. The proof of that was not only seen on social media, but also because of the reception to a video of his return.

The official WWE video of Carlito’s surprise appearance brought in 3.9 million views on social media as of this writing. The clip is also performing well on YouTube, with over 1.1 million views. In comparison, other highlight videos from Backlash on WWE’s YouTube channel have fewer views, with the full show highlights video receiving 823,000 views and the Bad Bunny vs Damian Priest highlight video receiving 734,000 views.

WWE fans obviously didn’t forget about Carlito. That reception should more than prove to WWE that it’s worth trying to lock him into some sort of a deal to keep him around. After all, the LWO is still going strong and could use a new member.
