Trinity Fatu Reveals How Leaving WWE Benefited Her Marriage to Jimmy Uso

Trinity Fatu, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, has revealed how leaving the company last year has positively impacted her marriage with Jimmy Uso. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion and Women’s Tag Team Champion walked out of WWE in May 2022, along with her partner Mercedes Moné (Sasha Banks), after a dispute with the management over their creative direction.

In a recent interview with Forbes, Fatu opened up about how her WWE departure affected her personal life and relationship with her husband, who is still working for WWE as part of the Bloodline faction.

“Really the family. The family time. Like, really being able to have quality family time and not have to really watch the clock or think about how many days I got home or when I’ve got to get back on the road. And really just being able to focus on my marriage and my relationship away from the road. Like, both of us not working and one of us being home to be able to take care of home. That’s been a blessing. And yeah, just a new layer to our relationship in marriage,” she said.

Fatu added that she and Jimmy Uso met when they were 21 years old in WWE developmental, and their whole life has been together on the road wrestling. She said that this is a whole new chapter of them not being on the road together and it’s been great.

“Because [Trinity and her husband Jimmy Uso] met at 21 in [WWE] developmental, and so our whole life has been together on the road wrestling. So this is a whole new chapter of us not being on the road together and it’s been great, and of course I support the Bloodline. I’m still watching every week and, you know, still talking to the women from my locker room and everything is good.”

Trinity Fatu and Jimmy Uso have been married since 2014 and are one of the most popular couples in wrestling. The couple has also appeared in reality television shows like Total Divas.

Fatu made her IMPACT Wrestling debut in the April 28 tapings and made her intentions clear on becoming the Impact Knockouts World Champion.

It’s good to hear that Trinity Fatu’s decision to leave the WWE didn’t have a negative impact on her marriage to Jimmy Uso. It’s also amazing to see the support she shows for her husband who still works for WWE.
