WWE Backlash is going down tonight in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Seth Rollins vs Omos will go down as part of that stacked card. This was a big surprise for fans, because there was absolutely zero build for that match. It also came with a warning from one WWE Hall of Famer.

Seth Rollins is coming off of a WrestleMania win against Logan Paul, but Omos did not defeat Brock Lesnar at the same event. This puts an interesting dynamic into this match to consider, especially given the knowledge that Seth Rollins is a huge favorite to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
During a recent episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long went into Seth Rollins’ current feud with Omos a bit. He advised the Visionary to take it easy, because he doesn’t really want to tangle with the Nigerian Giant.
“I still think you’re pretty much going to see the same. I don’t think it will be real long. Maybe a little bit more competitive this time that it was with Brock. Now Omos understands a little bit more about what his role is, what he needs to do in there. So I think that will be a pretty good match, but like I said, I don’t think it will be too long, and it shouldn’t be. You got a big giant here, either way it goes, he can get something on you quick and get the 1-2-3. My thing with Seth Rollins, stay away from the man. Cause if he gets his hands on you, he’s pretty much in control.”
Seth Rollins has tangled with opponents who are bigger than him throughout his entire career. That is nothing new, but Omos is a different story totally. The giant Superstar towers over everyone else on the WWE roster right now.
Since Seth Rollins is favorite to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title, it only makes sense that he pulls down the win. Then again, you can never count WWE out for having a few surprises up their sleeves.
