Bad Bunny showed up on SmackDown in Puerto Rico this week, and he put on quite a show. Fans in San Juan popped huge when he put on an LWO shirt, but his jacket was the source of a major rumor going around.
A Twitter account that claims to have insider news tweeted out some false information recent. It was said that Bad Bunny’s jacket with the old WWE logo on it upset Vince McMahon. It turns out that was a fabricated report.
Vince McMahon was FURIOUS that Bad Bunny wore the WWF Scratch Logo on Smackdown tonight. Per backstage reports, Bad Bunny is likely to be suspended for 90 days.
Boozer 666, who has a history of nailing reports from WWE, tweeted out a reply to this report. With only one word, Boozer was able to shut the entire rumor down.
Nope.
We’ll have to see how Bad Bunny does at Backlash. His match against Damian Priest could steal the show for fans in San Juan. Then again, anything can happen in WWE, so there’s no way to tell what will go down.
In the meantime, we can be confident in knowing that Vince McMahon was not upset at all to see Bad Bunny rocking an older company logo. That logo is a part of WWE history, and although it is one that needed to be blurred out of WWE video releases for years, Bad Bunny is apparently totally okay to wear it.
