Carlito Makes Surprise Return During WWE Backlash

WWE brought Backlash to Puerto Rico, and that called for a big surprise or two. We previously reported that Savio Vega was on hand for the big show, but he was not the only big cameo in store.

Bad Bunny and Damian Priest threw down in the co-main event of WWE Backlash. During the climax of the match, Carlito’s music hit. The former WWE Superstar was met with a huge reaction.

Carlito ran to the ring and had a bit of a spot, and that included his famous apple gimmick. His time in the match didn’t last long, but it was still a great cameo.

Carlito has worked consistently in Puerto Rico since his WWE departure. He was all ready for a return to WWE after his Royal Rumble appearance a few years ago, but that didn’t pan out. Perhaps, Carlito might get another look after that performance.

Savio Vega also came out during the Bad Bunny and Damian Priest match and tore the house down as he helped fend off Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio, who were trying to help Damian Priest cheat.
