WWE SmackDown’s producers for the latest episode have been revealed, thanks to a report by Fightful Select. The report gives insights into the various segments of the show and the producers who worked on them.

The opening dark match featuring Butch vs. LA Knight was produced by Adam Pearce, while Michael Hayes produced the Rey Mysterio promo segment, as well as multiple backstage segments.

Jason Jordan was the producer for The OC vs. The Viking Raiders, and TJ Wilson (aka Tyson Kidd) produced segments involving Bianca Belair, Damage CTRL, and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Abyss produced the match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Karrion Kross, and Shawn Daivari produced The Street Profits vs. Imperium.

The LWO vs. Judgment Day main event, which also featured Bad Bunny, was produced by Michael Hayes.

It was also mentioned that WWE officials had been planning Cameron Grimes’ call-up for five months, and WWE higher-ups were pleased with the crowd reactions during SmackDown in Puerto Rico.

The upcoming Backlash event will be the company’s first major event in Puerto Rico since New Year’s Revolution in January 2005, and fans can expect a memorable event after WWE officials reportedly appreciated the crowd reactions during SmackDown.

Bad Bunny wore a throwback WWF Attitude Era logo jacket, but the logo had to be blurred out during the FOX broadcast. The reason for this was due to WWE’s old lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund, which caused the company to change its name from WWF to WWE.

Cody Rhodes’ promo segment did not have a producer listed internally, according to the report. This suggests that it was a different kind of segment from the others and did not require the same level of production.
