Naomi walked out on WWE along with Mercedes Mone a year ago on Monday Night RAW and fans wondered if she would ever come back. Of course, that did not happen as she went on to debut in Impact Wrestling as Trinity Fatu. Now it appears she is down to face off against Mercedes Mone.
News broke last week that Naomi was set for her Impact Wrestling debut. She is now known as Trinity and already made her in-ring debut in the company. As part of her debut, she shared the ring with Deonna Purrazzo and immediately became a big deal.
Not only that, but Trinity also competed in her first match in Impact Wrestling as part of the latest set of TV tapings for the show. There, she beat KiLynn King in a remarkable match.
While speaking to Ring The Belle, Trinity Fatu was asked if she wants to face off against Mercedes Mone. Fatu made it clear that she is down to square off against her friend in Impact Wrestling.
I’m here for it all. That is my dream, if the stars align and it happened, absolutely. Absolutely. I want to be a part of it and do everything that I can to continue to elevate this women’s division and put IMPACTT even more so on the map so we all get the respect that we deserve.”
Trinity opened up about her time away and her WWE exit and even stated that her departure from Vince McMahon’s company was a blessing in disguise for her. Now it remains to be seen whether she will end up facing Mercedes Mone in the future.
