WWE has a lot of things in motion, and that includes their Superstars on the road as they make a new city almost every night of the week. All that work has paid off in a big way, because WWE’s live numbers have seen quite a surge.

We previously reported that television viewership numbers are up. We also finally have a time frame when to expect Endeavor’s merger of the UFC and WWE to be finally finalized.

As part of the company’s 1st quarter 2023 earnings report, they were able to flex their live event attendance numbers a bit. Obviously, they have a lot to be proud of.

North American Live Events ticket sales revenue increased 52% over the prior year period, reflecting a 37% increase in average attendance

WWE certainly gave fans reasons to buy tickets for their live events, with new Superstars and fresh angles. Roman Reigns would also bring in a ton of fans whenever he could work an event on the road. Only time will tell how those numbers look at the end of the year.

The goal is to always move your numbers up, but the invisible glass ceiling could always exist for WWE’s attendance numbers. We’ll have to see if they are able to shatter that in the months to come so they can continue boasting such huge numbers.

WrestleMania brought a ton of fans into SoFi Stadium for two straight nights. The company is also selling out house show events in markets where they didn’t have that response in the past. This is obviously a good sign as they continue.
