CM Punk always managed to make headlines no matter what he does and fans are accustomed to that fact. Punk also paid a visit to WWE before RAW last week and became a major topic of discussion. Now it appears his visits were said to have been as a way to smarten up Tony Khan.

As we previously reported, CM Punk was asked to leave WWE RAW last week. That said, he stayed long enough to have interactions with a few WWE Superstars and have a proper conversation with Triple H.

CM Punk was also present backstage during the latest set of Impact Wrestling TV tapings last week. Impact Wrestling stars were happy to see Punk there.

While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette commented on CM Punk’s recent visits to WWE and Impact Wrestling. Cornette stated that he believes Punk actions were a way to smarten up Tony Khan.

He’s basically showing Tony, ‘you f****** moron, if I walk out into a goddamn parking lot, it makes news, and who else do you have on your roster that can be said that about? So smarten up, get your head out of your ass and, in the meantime, he’s having fun visiting different places in Chicago.

Many in WWE also believe Punk wanted ‘back in’ the company. As Ringside News exclusively reported, CM Punk didn’t make a huge impression with his visit. It remains to be seen how Punk will fare after he returns during AEW Collision’s debut in June.

What’s your take on what Jim Cornette said? Do you think CM Punk is trying to teach Tony Khan a lesson? Sound off in the comments!
