AEW is set to launch a new weekly television show, expected to be called Collision, starting June 17th, 2023. The two-hour show will air on TNT and will join AEW’s existing television shows, Dynamite and Rampage.
AEW has recently filed for the trademark rights to several terms, including Collision, which the company applied for with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on April 28th.
The trademark application listed the intended categories of entertainment services as live wrestling performances, production of wrestling programs and events, and ongoing multimedia programs featuring wrestling.
“Mark For: COLLISION™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling.”
The new show is set to feature the return of former WWE Superstar CM Punk and is expected to be built around him. The company is reportedly planning a roster split to separate Punk from wrestlers with whom he has had issues. The premiere episode of Collision is also expected to feature a major talent debut or return.
The addition of a third weekly show is a significant move for AEW and shows their commitment to continuing to grow and expand their brand. Wrestling fans are eagerly anticipating the launch of Collision and what it will bring to the wrestling world.
