WWE concluded the 2023 Draft after RAW, but it seems there are still a couple of shake-ups that need to be made. Now, we have a change in their ring announcers.

WWE’s official website announced on Tuesday morning that Samantha Irvin is no longer the ring announcer for SmackDown. She will now take her talents to RAW, and Mike Rome will move to the blue brand.
Although Samantha Irvin and Mike Rome really liked their spots on SmackDown and RAW respectively, they will undoubtably fit well on the other brand. WWE also had a very good reason for making this swap.
Samantha Irvin and Ricochet are engaged to be married. So, when Ricochet and Braun Strowman were picked by RAW, this change for the ring announcer came with it. You have to give WWE credit for keeping couples together, even if they’re not active Superstars.
RAW and SmackDown Superstars will have a new voice calling their names as they make their way to the ring. Hopefully, this change won’t be too much of a factor to cause an issue with any fans, because both Mike Rome and Samantha Irvin are amazing at their jobs.
