The Miz is a true veteran and one of the most decorated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. The Awesome One has seen a career resurgence as of late thanks to his solid bouts with the likes of Seth Rollins and others. That being said, it appears The Miz was recently called the biggest channel changer in WWE.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Shinsuke Nakamura was drafted to the red brand and was then made an appearance as a guest on The Miz TV following the announcement.
However, the segment was largely uninspired, to say the least. The King of Strong Style embarrassed The Miz by making him chant something in Japanese that translated to “tiny balls.” Nakamura then laid out The Miz with a big knee to end the segment.
While speaking on Legion Of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo made it clear he was fed up with The Miz’s segments on RAW, stating that they are the same thing each and every week. He then proceeded to call The Miz the biggest channel changer in WWE.
“Was Miz in the draft? This Miz c*** is gonna continue on RAW? The Miz segment is the biggest, greatest channel changer on this entire show. Literally, even before the Rollins singing. You talk about old, and worn out, and tired, my God. How long are we gonna beat this dead drum?”
That said, The Miz vs Seth Rollins from last month received a ton of props backstage. Only time will tell whether WWE will have The Miz do something substantial for a change in the future.
