Chris Jericho is the man of many gimmicks and near-limitless reinventions over the past three decades. He is loyal to a fault to whichever company he is a part of and that includes AEW right now. He is a multi-talented individual and now it appears Jericho will be starring in an upcoming movie.

The former AEW World Champion is the master of reinvention and his acting skills can never be in doubt as he has successfully portrayed numerous gimmicks throughout his career.

Chris Jericho took to Twitter and made a major announcement recently. According to a report by Variety, Chris Jericho is set to star in the upcoming UPtv original movie “Country Hearts.” As revealed by the official description, the movie follows “the daughters of country music and rock & roll royalty who find themselves at a crossroads, torn between following their dreams of performing or helping their father run their up-and-coming horse breeding business.”

Besides Chris Jericho, the cast also includes Lanie McAuley, Katerina Maria, Brendan Morgan, Jeff Irving, Craig Strickland, David Pinard, Michelle Nolden, Genevieve Fisher, Roy Lewis, Lara Amersey, Greg Ellwand, Bebsabe Duque, Celine Bauwmans, and Neil Whitely.

It was further added that a sequel for the upcoming film has already been greenlit. It remains to be seen how the film will turn out, as fans aware certainly interested to see Jericho’s acting chops.
