WWE RAW is set to air its Draft Night 2 edition tonight, live from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will also feature a new segment and match that WWE has just announced.
Byron Saxton revealed in a video that new RAW Superstar, Shinsuke Nakamura, will appear on MizTV to speak with The Miz. Additionally, it was revealed that Matt Riddle will go one-on-one with Jimmy Uso in singles action.
Nakamura recently joined RAW after being drafted from SmackDown during Night 1 of the WWE Draft. It is unclear what the two will discuss on MizTV, but fans are eager to see Nakamura’s fresh start on RAW.
Meanwhile, Riddle will be looking for redemption after The New Day’s Xavier Woods defeated him last week on RAW. He faces Jimmy Uso, one half of The Usos, who were not drafted during Night 1 of the WWE Draft.
In addition to the new match and segment, RAW will also feature the much-anticipated Night 2 of the WWE Draft, as well as the go-home build for WWE Backlash.
Fans are especially excited to see Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes in the same building. Lesnar is set to face Rhodes at Backlash, which will be his first match in WWE in several years.
The WWE Draft is expected to shake up the rosters of both RAW and SmackDown, with top stars eligible for selection tonight including Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, and Seth Rollins, among others.
The Draft will determine the fate of several superstars who will either stay on their current brand or move to the opposing brand. WWE has not announced any other matches for tonight’s RAW, but fans can expect more surprises and exciting moments as the show progresses.
