Injuries are a part of pro wrestling, and sadly they can pop up at a moment’s notice. Thanks to a newly announced injury, one former NXT star’s momentum on the indies has hit a roadblock.

Alexander Wolfe is no longer with WWE, but he’s in great shape now. He’s been doing his thing on the indies, but that will have to take a break. He broke his collarbone while competing for PROGRESS Wrestling’s Chapter 152 event this weekend.

wXw, who Alex Tischer has regularly competed for, announced on Twitter that he will miss their events from May to June, because he is now set to undergo surgery.

In a tweet translated from German, wXw tweeted out to let fans know that Alex Tischer is now injured. This means he must take a hiatus from the ring, and he will miss action as well.

In the coming week we will discuss and announce the resulting card changes at the events in Hamburg, Oberhausen (FAN) and London in May. We will then also schedule the dates for the 1-3 remaining matches of the Best of 5 series against Peter Tihanyi.

Although the exact extent or timeframe of Alex Tischer’s injury was not made public, it is obviously bad enough for him to miss a few events. These are obviously shows he was counting on, and fans were also hoping to see him as well.

Injuries are never expected in pro wrestling, and they’re always a big pain. Hopefully, Alex Tischer will be able to heal up, but he will have to miss a few scheduled matches in the meantime.

What’s your take on this latest pro wrestling injury? Do you think WWE needs to give Alexander Wolfe another shot? Sound off in the comments!
