Dax Harwood has been around the pro wrestling business long enough to know that it takes sacrifice to get far. He recently had to be on the road while his family celebrated at home without him.

The FTR member had a great 2022, as he and Cash Wheeler were covered in gold. They inked new contracts with AEW to remain with the company for the long term, and that will call for even more time on the road. That being said, it’s nowhere near as taxing as WWE’s calendar.

Dax Harwood just logged onto Twitter where he revealed that he was forced to miss two very important birthdays recently. His daughter’s birthday was last week, and now he’s on the road again as he misses his wife’s big day.

Last week, I missed my daughter’s 9th birthday b/c of work. Yesterday I missed my wife’s birthday b/c of work. This is what I signed up for, I get that, but it doesn’t ever get any easier.

Find a good person to share life with. It’s pretty cool!

Dax Harwood has sacrificed a lot to make it in the pro wrestling world. Thankfully, he seems to have a family that understands the dedication he must put into his craft to succeed. He might miss some family events, but he is out there making money, so they can continue a comfortable life thanks to the bumps he takes in the ring.

FTR inked a new deal with AEW, largely thanks to the lighter schedule compared to a WWE contract. Hopefully, that means Dax Harwood gets to see his family a lot more on important days, but he can’t make every birthday while working the road.

What’s your take on this situation with Dax Harwood? What would you sacrifice for pro wrestling? Sound off in the comments!
