Trinity, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, made a long-awaited return to professional wrestling on April 28 during the IMPACT Wrestling tapings in Chicago. The segment is scheduled to air on May 4’s episode of IMPACT.
Trinity has been absent from television since she and Mercedes Mone walked out of WWE ahead of the May 16, 2022 episode of WWE RAW.
In a recent interview with NBC Chicago, Trinity spoke about her hiatus and departure from WWE and mentioned it was a blessing in disguise.
“It took a little time to just process everything and really sort out what I want to do, where I want to be… I feel like it was a blessing in disguise. I feel that it’s allowed me to grow and become better in every way, in every aspect.”
Trinity will make her in-ring debut in IMPACT Wrestling on April 29 during the tapings in Chicago when she faces KiLynn King.
The former WWE star expressed her excitement about returning to wrestling and being welcomed back by fans.
“Being back in wrestling and being with my pack in a place where I feel so welcome…it was very, very overwhelming. And I really felt it in my heart like I really did. I couldn’t even hide the emotion.”
Fans of Trinity are eagerly anticipating her return to the ring and watching her make her mark in IMPACT Wrestling.
