RVD is certainly one of the best in-ring talents to have ever competed inside the squared circle. RVD took his skills to promotions such as ECW, Impact Wrestling, WWE, Pro Wrestling Noah and numerous other places over the years. Fans do want to see him in AEW and now it appears that RVD liked a tweet that asked Tony Khan to sign him.
RVD had a successful stint in ECW before signing with WWE in 2001, where he spent six years as an active wrestler and won numerous championships, including the WWE and ECW Championships. After leaving WWE in 2007, he briefly returned in 2013 before departing again in 2014.
The WWE Hall of Famer is still an active in-ring competitor, even if he does not compete as regularly as he used to. Due to his pedigree and fame, there are still many companies that want to hire him.
A fan recently made a request to AEW President Tony Khan on Twitter, asking Khan to sign RVD to AEW so that he can have a solid run there. Interestingly enough, RVD would end up liking that tweet, thereby indicating his own interest in working with Tony Khan.
Balls in your court @TonyKhan 🥹
RVD also had an interesting response to having one final pro wrestling run. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Tony Khan will end up signing the WWE Hall Of Famer in the future.
