WWE is going through a lot of changes, and that includes employees that work for the company. A new mandate went out to employees saying that they must return to the offices, but it might be a moot point for some.
We previously reported that WWE is still planning to move into their new headquarters, despite Endeavor merging the company with the UFC. Nick Khan also sent out word that all staff must return to the offices, as remote work assignments are now a thing of the past in WWE.
It was then reported that Nick Khan sent out a follow-up email that pushed the date back. Now, the new date for WWE employees’ return to the office is May 8th instead of the 1st.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE staff who were ordered by Nick Khan to return had, for the most part, already returned to the office. This is an interesting thing to note.
Sources that we spoke to said that most of the jobs that needed to be back in the WWE offices have been for quite some time, well before Nick Khan’s email to the staff this week.
WWE worried a lot of employees with their mandated return to the offices. It was said that many are afraid that cuts could be coming soon.
Endeavor is merging WWE and the UFC, so redundancies might be discovered. If that’s the case, then firings could be a result of that. Either way, we’re hoping for the best.
