Teddy Long’s Possible Role For 2023 WWE Draft

WWE is holding another round of Draft picks this year and the rosters are due for a shake up. You never know whose names will be called, but we do know that Teddy Long will be around for the big event.

We previously reported that Teddy Long is going to be at the 2023 WWE Draft. He is booked to be on SmackDown and RAW. It seems that his role might be a very important one.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Teddy Long might be used as MC for the 2023 WWE Draft. This is a role that Stephanie McMahon usually does, but she is no longer around WWE.

Teddy Long is booked for both draft shows so he may be the M.C. Stephanie McMahon had been in that position the last few drafts but she’s no longer with the company.

Stephanie McMahon left WWE when Vince McMahon returned to the company. As you know, Stephanie McMahon took a leave of absence from WWE prior to her father’s brief retirement, and she returned to take over the co-CEO role alongside Nick Khan.

We’ll have to see whose names Teddy Long calls during the 2023 WWE Draft. You never know whether his return to WWE might see a longer run for the WWE Hall of Famer.
