WWE is preparing for a lot of things, both in and out of the ring. Despite all of their constant planning, it seems that they needed to push one important date back a bit.
We previously reported that WWE is still planning to move into their new headquarters, despite Endeavor merging the company with the UFC. Nick Khan also sent out word that all staff must return to the offices, as remote work assignments are now a thing of the past in WWE.
Brandon Thurston tweeted out to let fans know that WWE is delaying the date when employees are required to be back in the offices. They aren’t pushing things back a lot of time, but CEO Nick Khan did send out a company email to inform everyone that their new date is May 8th.
Nick Khan sent an email to staff last night pushing the start date for this to Monday, May 8, rather than May 1.
Some people in WWE are concerned that a move back to the offices means that mass firings are on the way. We have not been able to confirm this, but a lot of companies go through firings after mergers as redundancies are discovered.
WWE is moving into an exciting time for the company, but some of those plans need to be worked out carefully. Having all of their employees back in the offices is a big step, and it appears that they needed an extra week to make things work.
