Reports have emerged that two top names from the WWE NXT brand may be making their main roster debut on Friday Night SmackDown.
According to PWInsider, Bron Breakker and Cora Jade are scheduled to be backstage for the first night of the WWE Draft, which is set to take place on October 1, 2021.
It is important to note that just because they are scheduled to be there, it does not necessarily mean that they will appear on the show. However, there have been rumors circulating in recent weeks that suggest their time has come to move up to Raw or SmackDown.
Bron Breakker has been making waves on NXT since his debut in August. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner and has been repackaged as a heel on NXT. He recently had a match against NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, which he lost, but there are rumors of a potential rematch in the works. It remains to be seen whether he will appear on SmackDown and, if so, in what capacity.
Cora Jade, on the other hand, has been receiving a lot of praise for her recent performances on WWE Main Event. She has been making waves on NXT as well and has been involved in a feud with NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. Her match against Rose at NXT 2.0 was highly regarded and showcased her in-ring abilities.
It should be noted that WWE has called up talent before and kept them on NXT to wrap up their storylines. So it is still unclear whether they will actually make their main roster debut on SmackDown or if they will continue their run on NXT.
Bryan Alvarez had previously reported that some names that were scheduled to be called up after WrestleMania were delayed until the WWE Draft, so it is possible that Breakker and Jade were among those names.
Regardless of whether they appear on SmackDown or not, it seems likely that Breakker and Jade will make their main roster debut in the near future. It will be interesting to see how they are utilized and whether they can make an impact on the main roster.
