WWE is set to hold another Draft, and you never know how things will change around. Tag teams and stables could be broken, but fans might also see some brand-new Superstars introduced into the mix. This goes without saying, but this could be your official spoiler warning.
WWE has quite a few perspective call-ups from NXT to pick from. The Performance Center is full of talent, but a couple Superstars from developmental are far more likely than others.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that there are several NXT Superstars reportedly in line for main roster call-ups. Out of those, Pretty Deadly is certainly the most likely, especially how Spring Breakin’ ended with them sleeping with the fishes.
Ilja Dragunov is a name that was pitched to potentially join the main roster for the draft. We can confirm PWinsider’s report that Pretty Deadly were pitched as well. Tyler Bate has also been pitched, per WRKD Wrestling/
It was also reported that Cameron Grimes is just waiting for the right creative on the main roster. His call-up from NXT might have already secretly happened. Then again, WWE could always shock us all and pick someone totally out of the blue.
NXT Superstars are still under NXT contracts until larger main roster deals are offered. It appears that the company might be getting a few of those together, because this year’s WWE Draft could include some fresh faces to the main roster.
