Braun Strowman remains one of the biggest stars in all of WWE, but some believe he doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. This has been apparent since his callous remarks about indie wrestlers during the height of the pandemic. He also made some controversial remarks about high-flying wrestlers last year and now it appears Ricochet once again commented on Strowman’s tendency to create controversy with his tweets.
The Monster Among Monsters made headlines back in November last year after he took a shot at Dave Meltzer’s rating system. He then proceeded to bash on ‘flippy floppy’ wrestlers, and this led to a lot of backlash.
Even the likes of Mustafa Ali and Will Ospreay reacted to Strowman’s remarks. Interestingly enough, Strowman was eventually paired up with Ricochet and now they are a solid tag team on Friday Night Smackdown.
While speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Ricochet talked about Braun Strowman’s controversial tweets, especially the one from last year. Ricochet claimed that Strowman simply loves to stir the pot with his controversial tweets.
“Braun and I, we’ve always had banter like that back and forth. I think his tweet is just, you know, Braun loves to stir the pot. He loves to get reactions and rises out of people. He just loves it. It is funny because I think the backstage locker room cared a lot less about what he was saying then some of the people, like, the fans were tweeting me all this stuff. It’s like, you guys have no idea. I was probably sitting next to Braun when he was tweeting it. We just think, ‘Oh, that’s just Braun. That’s just our guy. That’s just our dude.’ He loves to stir the pot and get rises out of people and when people start to rise and they do it, he’s like, ‘Got them.’ He loves it.”
Braun Strowman recently suffered a concussion and is currently out of action due to the injury. That said, Strowman already stated that he is feeling much better. We will have to wait and see when Strowman will return to the squared circle, as fans will certainly be glad to see him back.
