CM Punk surprised us all when he showed up to WWE RAW this week. He was eventually asked to leave after hanging out for a bit, but he certainly made an impression. During that time, Punk squashed an old beef with The Miz, but he might have stayed away from Seth Rollins.
Many years ago, Seth Rollins couldn’t afford to train with CM Punk, but now things have certainly changed. Rollins is on top of WWE, and calling Punk a “cancer,” begging him to stay away from him in WWE.
PW Insider recently dropped a Q&A about CM Punk’s visit to WWE RAW. During that time, they discussed why Tony Khan wasn’t likely upset about the Second City Savior showing up backstage at the Allstate Arena.
The outlet was also asked whether CM Punk and Seth Rollins had anything to do with each other. The response was a simple reply, but it could have been a telling one.
Not that we’ve heard.
CM Punk was backstage for just over thirty minutes, and he saw a lot of people. Seth Rollins certainly caught wind that Punk was there. It was likely a personal choice to avoid having anything to do with him. We just have to wonder how Seth Rollins responded when he heard that Vince McMahon remotely told them to kick Punk out.
